ACP-415: Aloha Cloud now allows you to define a kitchen name to appear on a KDS (Kitchen Display System), providing the ability to abbreviate menu item names and support language translations. The kitchen name also replaces the item name that prints on the kitchen printers. The POS system and online ordering site show the kitchen name assigned to an item. Requires POS version: v6.10. For more information, refer to "Creating items," and "Using the kitchen display system."
ACP-1175: Aloha Cloud now supports generating check sequence numbers. The check sequence number is used for tracking/identifying orders in the kitchen and at the front counter for calling out/displaying sequence numbers to guests. Also, the check sequence is printed on the customer receipt and the kitchen chit. Requires POS version: v6.10. For more information, refer to "Using company options," "Understanding check sequence numbers," "Viewing POS device details," and "Using the kitchen display system."
ACP-4334: Aloha Cloud now allows merchants to opt-in for the pilot program using Back Office. Navigate to Settings & Privacy > Admin to enable this functionality. When selected, merchants are automatically included as pilot customers for the upcoming releases.
